The location was absolutely breathtaking! We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature and tranquility. The cottage itself was so cozy and comfortable, it truly felt like a home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. We loved that there was everything we could possibly need, from kitchen utensils to entertainment options. And the best part? Even though we were nestled in nature, we were just a short drive away from the Dalbeattie village, where we could find everything we needed. The locals were also friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, we went on a lovely walk to Drumcoltran Tower, which was only a short distance away on peaceful roads.

The only small inconvenience we encountered was that the fridge was a bit too small for our group of four. As we were cooking for a few days, we needed more space for our groceries.
